Chiropractic care is a bit like building a house. Certain things need to happen in a particular order for everything to stand strong and work together. If you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to build your roof before the walls were ready, the same problem would occur.

These concepts apply to your body as well. Chiropractic care addresses many common reasons why people experience pain and other health issues. With chiropractic care, your body has to go through a particular plan of care so it can repair itself correctly. Below are three general phases of chiropractic care. Visit us today.

• Phase 1 - Relief Care: If you're in pain when you arrive to our wellness center, our main goal is to reduce your pain so you can start feeling better. Depending on the severity of the underlying condition that's causing your pain, you may need chiropractic care or adjustments 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.
• Phase 2 - Corrective/Restorative Care: During the corrective phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely which help to prevent further injury or pain. Our goal is to bring your body back to 100% function. Normally we'll recommend chiropractic care or adjustments 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your situation.
• Phase 3 - Wellness Care: Once your body has healed and you're free of pain, we suggest you visit us for periodic chiropractic adjustments to avoid further issues. This phase only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
