Corrective Exercise Program

Targeting Areas of the Body with Corrective Exercises

Whether you've been in an auto accident, workplace accident or you have a personal injury or complication from a medical condition, Hennington Wellness Center can teach you how to perform "blueprint" exercises to help strengthen and correct irregularities in your body that are causing pain.


Many of the exercises you learn can be done at home to improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care and spinal correction plan.


Besides skeletal misalignment, you may have pain caused by muscles and connective tissues that are out of place. We treat types of pain for back, neck and headache ailments.


Targeted corrective exercises and stretches will help you feel good and help your body achieve balance and health. Walk-ins are welcome. Visit us today.

Examples of Corrective Exercises

  • Back steps with arm raised for better flexibility and mobility
  • Baseballs on gluteal complex which triggers the often-underused gluteal muscles
  • Calf stretches with a balance trainer for improved coordination
  • Foam roller iliotibial bands for lower legs and gluteus maximus
  • Foam roller quadriceps for leg muscles and hips including the rectus femoris
  • Golf ball roll for plantar fasciitis patients as it treats foot issues like overpronation
  • Hip flexor stretches which trigger the lumbar spine for less pain
  • Knee pulls to rebuild the gluteus maximus for less painful walking
  • Lying rotations for ailing shoulder joints
  • Tennis balls on the upper back to treat back roundness from thoracic kyphosis
